What is the difference between a silicone and a plastic case?

A silicone case is soft and flexible, and it absorbs impact well. It grips in the hand, but it collects dust and yellows over time. A hard plastic (PC) case is thin and easy to keep clean, but it does not give under impact. For most people a TPU or hybrid case is the better compromise — it combines both.

How do I choose the right case?

Choose for the way you actually use the phone: if you drop it often, take a rugged case; if you want to keep the phone slim, TPU or silicone is enough; if you want to carry cards, pick a wallet case. Above all, check that the case is made for your exact phone model.

Does a case protect against drops?

Yes, though how much depends on the type. A thin silicone case keeps scratches away and helps with low falls. Rugged cases such as UAG or Spigen Tough Armor are drop-tested from 2–3 metres and give the most protection.

Why does a clear silicone case turn yellow?

UV light and the natural oils on your skin cause it. It is normal and cannot be prevented entirely. Tip: a darker colour or a clear TPU case yellows far less visibly.

Description

Crong Crystal Slim is a clear, flexible TPU case shaped specifically for Huawei P40 Pro. Its slim 0.8 mm construction protects the phone's back and sides from scratches and minor impacts without hiding the original finish.

A fine Micro Dot texture on the inside reduces sticking and wet-looking marks between the case and phone.
Integrated button covers help protect the controls from dust and dirt.
Precisely positioned openings leave the phone's ports, speakers and camera accessible.
The flexible material makes the case easier to fit and remove.
The case can remain fitted during Qi wireless charging when the phone supports that function.

The package contains one Crong Crystal Slim case for Huawei P40 Pro; the phone and other accessories are not included.
