Tempered glass or hydrogel film — what is the difference?

Tempered glass (9H hardness) protects against drops and scratches and feels like the real screen under your finger. Hydrogel film is thinner and flexible, sits properly on a curved screen and heals surface scratches by itself — but it does not absorb impact. For most phones we recommend tempered glass.

Does a screen protector make the display worse?

No. A good protector has over 99% light transmission and an oleophobic coating that repels fingerprints. Colours and brightness stay the same.

Will a protector interfere with the fingerprint reader?

Tempered glass can slow down an in-display reader slightly. Hydrogel film works better with that technology. Tip: re-register your fingerprints after fitting the protector.

How often should a screen protector be replaced?

Replace it as soon as you see cracks or deep scratches — a cracked protector no longer protects properly. A good one typically lasts 6–12 months.

Description

OG Premium tempered glass helps protect your phone's screen from damage. It uses electrostatic adhesion and has an oleophobic coating that helps reduce fingerprints and makes dirt easier to remove.

The glass is 0.2 mm thick and has adhesive across its entire surface, helping limit air bubbles during installation. Its construction consists of 3 layers and offers high transparency. The model-specific fit covers the entire screen surface, including the rounded edges of the display.
