Description

The Alpina Smart Zigbee gateway links compatible Zigbee sensors and devices to the Alpina Smart app through the home's Wi-Fi network. Its compact plug-in body connects directly to a mains socket, so no Ethernet cable is needed.

Up to 50 compatible devices can be connected to one gateway.
The stated unobstructed range is up to 90 m for Zigbee and up to 50 m for Wi-Fi. Walls, floors, interference and placement reduce practical range.
Wireless support comprises Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n and Zigbee IEEE 802.15.4. Complete initial setup in the Alpina Smart app before adding sensors.
Maximum power consumption is 3 W and the specified input is 90–250 V AC at 50/60 Hz.
Use indoors in a dry, accessible socket. Do not cover the unit, expose it to moisture or exceed the stated electrical range.

The package contains one Alpina Smart Zigbee gateway. Sensors, a phone and a Wi-Fi router are not included.
