The CNC YCX8-DIS is a photovoltaic DC protection box for 8 independent strings, with 8 inputs and 8 outputs. It provides DC-side isolation and surge protection without combining the strings into a single output.

Features

• Maximum system voltage: 1000 V DC.
• UV-resistant polycarbonate enclosure with IP66 ingress protection and a flame-retardant V0 rating according to UL 94.
• Lockable in the closed position; fitted with MC4 connectors and cable glands.
• 4 lockable DC isolator switches; supplier-listed standards: UL508I and IEC 60947-3 PV2.
• 8 solar DC surge-protection devices, rated at 20 kA nominal and 40 kA maximum discharge current.
• Surge-protection response time: under 25 ns; voltage protection level: 3.6 kV.
• Surge-protection standards: IEC 61643-31 and EN 50539-11+ A1.
