What is the difference between a silicone and a plastic case?

A silicone case is soft and flexible, and it absorbs impact well. It grips in the hand, but it collects dust and yellows over time. A hard plastic (PC) case is thin and easy to keep clean, but it does not give under impact. For most people a TPU or hybrid case is the better compromise — it combines both.

How do I choose the right case?

Choose for the way you actually use the phone: if you drop it often, take a rugged case; if you want to keep the phone slim, TPU or silicone is enough; if you want to carry cards, pick a wallet case. Above all, check that the case is made for your exact phone model.

Does a case protect against drops?

Yes, though how much depends on the type. A thin silicone case keeps scratches away and helps with low falls. Rugged cases such as UAG or Spigen Tough Armor are drop-tested from 2–3 metres and give the most protection.

Why does a clear silicone case turn yellow?

UV light and the natural oils on your skin cause it. It is normal and cannot be prevented entirely. Tip: a darker colour or a clear TPU case yellows far less visibly.

Description

Dux Ducis Rafi II Mag gives Samsung Galaxy A35 5G the convenience of a wallet, stand and protective case in one. Two inner pockets hold cards or cash, including an RFID-shielded compartment, while the adjustable stand supports vertical or horizontal viewing up to 135 degrees. A rigid back, soft TPU edges and smooth synthetic-leather finish protect the phone; MagSafe compatibility is intended for flat chargers that fit beneath the back flap, not magnetic holders.
