TUYA Smoke and CO Detector, Wi-Fi

This combined Wi-Fi detector uses a photoelectric smoke sensor and an electrochemical carbon-monoxide (CO) sensor. It provides an audible alarm, LED indication, an LCD CO display and Tuya app notifications.

Functions and installation

• The Tuya Smart or Smart Life app works over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi without a separate hub and shows event history and battery status.
• Install on the ceiling near the centre of the room where possible. Keep approximately 50 cm from corners; for wall mounting, place it approximately 10–30 cm below the ceiling. Avoid fans, radiators, air conditioners, humid or dusty areas, and verify stable Wi-Fi at the selected location.
• Use the test button weekly and follow the supplied instructions and applicable fire-safety requirements.

Alarm data

• The supplier states compliance with EN 14604:2005 and EN 50291-1:2018.
• CO response values stated by the supplier: no alarm at 30 ppm for 120 minutes; 50 ppm in 60–90 minutes; 100 ppm in 10–40 minutes; 300 ppm in under 3 minutes. At 300 ppm, the alarm cannot be silenced.
• Audible level: more than 85 dB at 3 m; coverage: 20–40 m²; test/silence button; power, alarm and fault indicators.
